Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of older adults who need just a little support to remain independent?
Join Concordia Place in helping its neighbors. Our program helps to reduce loneliness and isolation among our area seniors. A Friendly Visitor provides the human connection necessary to enhance a senior's quality of life and overall well-being. Our program volunteers help seniors by performing services such as, transportation for medical appointments, grocery shopping, phone outreach and well-being visits.
Every visitor is trained, supervised and given the proper tools to make a positive difference in the lives of area seniors. In return you are enriching your own life by making a difference for someone else. Our volunteers are matched with a senior on a one-to-one basis.
