After-school Program

When school lets out, we are in session! Our After-school program, for 5 to 12-year-olds, allows your child to continue their love of learning in a warm and nurturing environment. We believe learning opportunities happen best through varied and engaging activities and projects. Our program ensures that a balance of academics and play are integral to all activities for school-age children. Through art, games, cooking, drama and sports, children learn socialization, team building, problem-solving and communication skills. Our qualified adult staff provides children with assistance to help develop and strengthen homework skills.

In addition to providing educational activities and homework help, we also believe in the importance of supporting children’s social and emotional development after a long day at school. Children are given time to socialize with friends and build peer relationships, with the warm guidance from our teachers. In the afterschool hours, children have a lot of energy, so our on-site play lot and indoor large motor space offer daily opportunities to get moving and stay healthy.

We offer children a safe place to go after school each day until 6:00 p.m. We are open all day when area schools are closed. Our staff provides a safe passage by picking students from area schools and walking them to Concordia on Whipple.

Summer Camp Program

Searching for a way to keep your children safe and fully engaged when school is out during the summer while you are at work?

Parents with children in our summer camp never hear complaints that their children are bored. Learning, team building, games, swimming, field trips, and creative expression are all interwoven to create a full summer of fun. Activities and projects build on each other throughout the summer, and educational workshops round out the program.

We believe that our summer camp should be a balance of time for children to relax and have fun, but also maintain the skills and knowledge that was built up throughout the school year. Through engaging, educational activities and a consistent daily routine, children can smoothly transition from the school year, to summer camp, and back to the school year.

Our Monday through Friday, full-summer program is open from 7:00am – 6:00pm, so parents can work without interruptions, while their children enjoy numerous summer activities and develop lasting friendships.
